been a long road to follow been there and gone tomorrow without saying goodbye to yesterday are the memories I hold still valid? or have the tears deluded them? maybe this time tomorrow the rain will cease to follow and the mist will fade into one more today something somewhere out there keeps calling am I going home? will I hear someone singing solace to the silent moon? zero gravity what's it like? am I alone? is somebody there beyond these heavy aching feet still the road keeps on telling me to go on something is pulling me I feel the gravity of it all (SAKAMOTO Maaya, "Gravity") -------------------------------- Boredom. It's a very big problem. It's a problem because we die all the time. I am dieing as we speak. Boredom robs us of living. How to cure boredom is creation or the ideas that could lead to creation. All creatures on this planet need stimulation to live. We could have all the food, water, shelter we want but stimulation is needed to function. The brain needs it. Why do you think we dream? Our brain is stimulating itself with what it has seen and knows. So to be bored is a problem. We are hurting ourselves without stimulation, we are crippling our own benefits to the human race. To cure boredom is to pull the heart strings. Every person should have an emergency song, poem, essay, picture that pulls one's emotions. Boredom takes away the feeling heart. Pain and experiences can crush the heart as well. All we need is a small push. The sad song, the romantic poem, the picure of hope. It's just a small push, so that we can get up and move. We move, not the motivation. It's important not rob oneself of life. I like the song above. It's romantic to think of life as an endless path in the wilderness. Everyone has a direction to choose, to travel. It gets hard, it gets bad, but the road keeps telling me to go on. There is nothing out there, it's just the will to live and progress. To be human is to progress, never stopping. We all carry our own burden, there is no guarateen of happiness, only that path of living.
