I had a dream about Pretty Woman (you know, the movie where julia roberts is a hooker that has all her teeth?) But it wasn't pretty woman, it was about a beautiful orange haired girl who was a hooker yet madly in love. Yup, that's the entire dream. That might have come from the 5th Element though.

Was the sex good, you ask?

I don't remember. If anything sex in a dream is like falling down the rabbit hole.

Woke up early this morning to go the beach. Finding that it was cloudy, foggy, and wet outside... no beach. Instead, went to the cloudy foggy dock to take some pictures. Very eerie, the first dock I went to was old and rotten with yellow jackets flying everywhere. There was what looked like a pelican on another dock and he was walking around. I shadow walked with him, hoping for him to fly away. But birds are very patient animals. They don't fly when you want them to and you can sit there for an hour and they still won't fly or even flap their wings. The eeriest thing was the total silence on the dock. I love how the river changes the mood. On a clear night with the stars it's just beautiful. In the afternoon, it's a hot muggy fish trap. As the sunsets, it's purple and thought provoking.

The second dock I went to, the sun was higher up so I got some good sun-reflection shots in the water. And even took a pic of the local "Mike and Angie Love 4-ever" carved into the wood. Is it really forever? Lovers are very positive people, in the height of infatuation, they scream to everyone around them and leave their mark that they challenge all evil to attempt a split of their union. They say "Silly Satan, we are lovers. See this mark in the wood? It is are sign that FOREVER I Mike will love Angie...4-ever." (He actually says "4.")

Then it's revealed the following month that Angie was cheating on Mike or vice versa and that's the end of that. Some say Polygamy is a good thing. I could care less. I think having one wife is enough. If you just want to have sex with more than one woman, then just don't tie the knot. Geeeez, they make a system to try to jive with the sex drive (in a holy manner) but sex isn't marriage or a business deal.

Marriage is important though. It's a ceremony of age, rights of passage. In "modern society" we have thrown away all primal gatherings that move us from one stage to the next. When the boy turns into a man (NO, bar-mitzvahs don't count, being a man automatically happens in Judiasim.) When a man becomes an elder. Transition is important in life, moving from stage to stage organizes our strength. Marriage is imporant. It's the offical statement of "I love you," it's the time to move from creating by yourself to creating with another human being, it's the time that a person is intimate with another human being.

So get married, damnit. And if your gay, pretend to get married. You don't need a priest, rabbi, judge for marriage. That's just the silly stuff religion makes up. Religion likes to make up stuff, Religion has a great imagination.

Note: never wear a baggy shirt when outside practicing martial arts. It will get heavy and nasty. That is all.
