I'm feeling good. Good-good-good. I'm better except for maybe one shoulder nerve that hurts a little bit and the scabs. They'll go away soon enough. I found out the hard way that the nerve was still touchy when I was practicing hand-techniques down the hall. I like making up hand-techs outside of what the dojo has taught. I saw on the US Open a kung-fu guy who was waving his arms around and doing lots of flips. It wasn't exactly a kata... I think he did too many flips for application. At least that's what I think when I do kata. The kata is a beautiful performance but it's only a memory device for many different moves. Only time I see acrobatics in a self-made kata is when Master U does a cart-wheel. But he can do it because he's pretty old and your amazed everytime. But hey, Kirk has a kata where he hits his palms against his chest like he's an ape. We don't know what it means, but he calls it part of a the soft style. Yup... but he ends up winning every tournament he enters, dresses cheesy while attracting many woman, and still acts like a good role model for everyone. It's best not to ask. But I'm feeling good. It's sunday. Everything in Jax-Bible-ville is very quiet on sunday. Wonder what trouble I can get into today (tommorow)? My good friend Alex is right now in Europe swooing the women with his acordian. I guess it might be time to go road triping. St. Augustine doesn't count.
