OK, so my story got shot down in Fiction Workshop. Ari called certain parts, "A really funny B-rated Kung Fu movie" And he made fun of each line of pages 2-3 showing how they related to a B-rated Kung Fu movie. This went on for 30 minutes (I'm thinking because Ari saw me laughing so hard that it was ok to continue the bashing.)

This story reminds me of my life (not the psycho rough sex violent killing parts) but that this story really doesn't have a solid plot or a solid progression of characterzation. Again, for myself and all of humanity: how often do we address the issues in our life that need to be addressed and how often are we constantly challenging our own beliefs. And not just religion or common sense ideas... I'm talking about everything, every detail about ourselves... is it really needed? And when we find the problem, we just change. That is it, you JUST change. No hang ups, no excuses, change. I understand some habits are biological and can't change that quickly but everything else you just change... do it right now.

Don't forget to think, open your mind. When we see something not needed, we need to sit down and plan. My story seemed to have little planning and with the planning I had, my characters still felt like strangers. We need to plan and debate and talk and do. Human Beings are Doing creatures: even babies do-things (when they aren't sleeping of course.)

I think I've said all this stuff in the past, but it's a good reminder. Sorta like a second chance or a redo on life. I think "worry" is a destructive force in life. The issue shouldn't be let go but the worry needs to be pushed away.

So... Identify, Plan(think), Do, No Worries. I'm not sure any of this makes sense, but this is how I organize my thoughts. :D
