Let me tell you about the Osprey radio five dollar benefit concert.

The first band was pretty close to garage band punkish music. The lead guitarist was constantly spazing on stage when they hit a real fast part. At one point he got so excited that he jumped in the air and his shoes shot into the crowd (I ducked to avoid said shoe.) Then later he fell on the ground, hit his head, and then rolled around a lot holding his head while the band still played. When it was finally over, the drummer dove into his drum set knocking everything over and the lead guitar helped smash things with his guitar.

Yes the concert sucked.

Yes the radio station is run by losers.

(or just overly dramatic pencil drawings of Mtv death metal.)

But still the radio station is important on campus, so they got my five bucks. Eh, I wondered why the room was so empty before they began playing.

Well, I never went to the gay club (I oppted for sleep instead.) BUT, are class is doing something way better than hitting on gay-men for phone numbers. We are going sky-diving!!!! A girl brought in her sky-diving video to the class (interesting enough the whole beginning of the movie played "Pretty Woman" while the camera guy interviewed her) and it made jumping out of an airplane look fun.

But I'll tell you the real reason why the whole class wants to be tied down to another person falling 1000s of feet down to the earth. Ashlee, the girl, before our class went bungee-jumping and the cord never rebounded so she fell into the net. This was pretty tramatic for her. So Ari (in another class) by chance had an assiment saying "you must do an act of courage and write about it!" Ashlee, crying all the way, forced herself to bungee jump a second time. It takes so much courage to face the things we dread the most, to overcome one's self. To beat one's own nature is what humans strive to do every day, every second. But to stike down fear, the nature to hold one's self from going forward (you can't go back!) in a single blow is simply amazing. So during our semester Ashlee took it a step forward by sky-diving and showed the class the video. Everyone then being inspired, wanted to go sky diving as well.

Friendship is amazing, life can be so amazing.
